2D particle system animation
on a fixed frame

gif animation - 47 frames - 753Kb
- We take a Thunderbird fixed frame generated with 3d program as a source picture.
- On the car lights, we compose 2 lens flares (lights), and animate the intensity with after fx.
- On the ground, we add 2 lights reflects, animated with after fx wave effect.
- We zoom into the picture to simulate the car is coming to the camera.
- First step is finished. we still need a life illusion.
- We're going to add 4 2D particle systems for that.
- the falling rain is animated with the first particle system.
- second one, generated from the car roof, simulates the rain is bouncing on the car and the road. we use for that a kind of 2d collision detection. in this case, the road is an obstacle.
- third one, generated behind the car, creates smoke twist around the car.
- last one, generated behind the camera, disappears far in the picture bakground and simulates the camera is running too.
- it could be hard to watch separately these 4 effects, I had to resize a lot this animation.
