#LifeAtOlala! - Meet Florencia Angrisani, HRBP at HQ Barcelona

Behind every growing company is a strong People’s Team, and at Olala!, Florencia plays a key role in shaping our people's experience. As our HR Business Partner, Flor supports teams across the organization with empathy, structure, and a deep sense of purpose.


In this interview, she shares her journey, her growth at Olala!, and what truly makes our culture special.



Tell us about yourself and your background before joining Olala!.

Moving from Buenos Aires to Barcelona allowed me to redefine and redirect my professional purpose. I’ve always been at the service of others, which is something I truly enjoy. Before joining Olala!, I did a similar thing but from an Executive Assistant’s role. After migrating, in my previous position, I was also able to support different teams and people across the company, which reinforced my desire to continue growing in a people-focused role.


What first caught your attention about Olala! during the hiring process?

From the very first conversations, Olala!’s culture and strong sense of belonging really stood out to me. I saw it as a personal opportunity to grow professionally in a way I hadn’t been able to before.


On top of that, meeting Eva Iglesias, General Managing Director at Olala!, made a big impact. Her energy and the way she spoke about Olala! and the team gave me a lot of confidence that both the project and the work environment were truly special.


Tell us about how you felt on your first day at Olala!.

I loved the energy from day one. There was such a strong sense of teamwork and camaraderie everyone waited to have lunch together, which might seem small but said a lot. Sara (Executive & HR Admin) was incredibly welcoming and attentive; she took the time to explain everything and introduce me to everyone, which made me feel comfortable right away.



Can you walk us through your journey at Olala! and some defining moments in your growth at the company?

When I joined, Eva—who was Head of People at the time—needed support with Human Resources and administrative tasks. As the company grew, the role evolved very quickly. I started taking on payroll responsibilities and diving deeper into the HR world. That rapid evolution of the role and the fast growth of the company lead the way to becoming Acting HRBP and later to consolidate the role as HRBP.


Looking back, what do you think has helped you grow the most within the company? 

Without a doubt, having someone who mentors you and guides you along the way. Also, not being afraid to go the extra mile, being proactive, taking initiative, trying to anticipate future company needs, and having a strong sense of commitment and ownership.


At Olala!, we talk a lot about our company culture and essence. From your perspective, what makes our team different from others?

What differentiates Olala! from others, is its sense of teamwork and genuine support for one another. The company is growing fast, which brings daily challenges, and I truly believe the best way to face them is knowing your teammates are there to support you at every step of the way.


Can you share a moment at Olala! that captures what it means to feel a true sense of belonging to the company?

As an expat—and working alongside many others in the same situation—it’s easy to empathize with one another, especially during important dates and moments spent far from home. At Olala!, you truly feel embraced and accompanied. When your loved ones are far away, finding that sense of closeness isn’t always easy, but here it comes naturally, through the people and the culture.



What advice would you give to someone considering joining the team?

Don’t be shy about sharing your ideas or points of view, always with respect and kindness. And, very importantly: ask for help when you need it! Everyone has been through doubts and uncertainty at some point, and people here are always willing to help.


What’s one thing you’re looking forward to within the people and culture space here?

I’m really looking forward to all that 2026 has to offer in terms of growth and expansion for the company. It’ll be an exciting challenge which we’ll face while preserving the same spirit of teamwork, support and care that we had when we were still a very small team.
