Barcelona, November 6, 2025 – The social art auction Timeraiser Arts consolidates its international success with its first edition in Barcelona, held yesterday at the Valid World Hall. The charity event was organized and sponsored by Olala!, in collaboration with Better Neighbours and Zeit, in cooperation with Barcelona NGOs Esperança, Afanoc, and Good Karma Projects. More than one hundred guests bid on unique works by young independent artists, offering their time as currency. A total of 1,270 volunteering hours were raised to support each NGO, thus transforming creativity into actions with social impact.

This initiative is part of the Corporate Social Responsibility policy of Olala!, an international hospitality and real estate group based in Barcelona, committed to generating significant positive impact in its immediate environment. With the celebration of Timeraiser Arts Barcelona, the company takes a step forward in its purpose and achieves a triple goal: supporting young talent, backing the work of local social organizations that promote the improvement of quality of life in the Barcelona community, and encouraging participation in volunteering and social impact.

During the auction, guests offered up to 120 hours of volunteering as bids in exchange for works created by independent artists, selected through an open call and one of Better Neighbours’ retreats. The winners committed to completing the promised hours of social work within one year, cooperating with one of the partner NGOs. Once they fulfill this commitment, the auctioned artwork will become their property.

Timeraiser Arts has a fifteen-year history of organizing social art auctions in various cities around the world. This edition marks the first time the event has been held in Barcelona, with an innovative approach to combining art, youth, and volunteering for the benefit of the community.

The collaborating NGOs of Timeraiser Arts Barcelona perform valuable social work: Esperança distributes food, clothing, and companionship to homeless people; AFANOC supports children and adolescents with cancer and their families, providing free accommodation during treatments; Good Karma Projects promotes environmental education, working on reducing plastic pollution and raising ecological awareness.

Meanwhile, Better Neighbours organizes digital nomad retreats in Olala! group accommodations, such as the latest one at Hotel Robson in Lloret de Mar, where many of the works auctioned last night in Barcelona were created.

“For Olala! the celebration of Timeraiser Arts Barcelona is a source of great satisfaction. It is a very special event that has allowed us to combine our social concern and close connection to Barcelona with the world of art. We believe that the business sector has a responsibility toward the local communities in which it operates, and we want, in our case, for that contribution to be tangible for some of the groups most in need of support,” declared Ittai Savran, CEO of Olala!.
